A career opportunity within the Company has arisen for a Group Director of Information Technology.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the successful candidate shall be responsible to lead the Information Technology Department and manage the deployment of cutting-edge technologies across QNH to support its growth strategy. Oversee QNH’s relationships with its vendors for the systems installed by them to ensure their timely support, whilst at the same time enhance QNH’s support services to ensure continuous provision of systems across QNH on a regular basis in line with management requirement and Service Line Agreements (SLAs).

• Ensure maintenance of the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics and integrity in provision of the services in the Operational Controls department.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of QNH’s vision, mission and strategic objectives by instilling and maintaining best-practice Information Technology processes.
• Ensure the implementation of strategy, annual business plans, budgets, policies and procedures of the IT Division, to support divisional and organizational business strategy.  
• Oversee the implementation of QNH’s IT strategy by defining processes, policies and standards relating to IT infrastructure, applications and security, enabling the company to use IT as a strategic differentiator.
• Ensure that the overall IT function within QNH is operating effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure that the relationship between the centralized Information Technology Division at the QNH corporate office and the respective IT departments within the individual properties managed by QNH are governed by detailed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between them.
• Ensure that the division’s business plans are within agreed budgets and timescales. Provide timely, accurate and complete progress reports to the CEO on the financial and operational progress of the division.
• Oversee the operations of Systems Development at properties managed by QNH. Furthermore, liaise with the personnel responsible for the IT function at the property level and ensure that the system design process is in line with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
• Lead the customization, maintenance implementation and upgrade of QNH’s IT System installed to handle all the data in all QNH organizational entities in an efficient and effective manner
  

Qualifications:
University degree in Computer Science/Information Technology and/or MIS from a recognized university.

Experience:
About 10 - 12 years of related experience, with a minimum of 4 - 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the Hospitality Industry.
