A career opportunity within the Company has arisen for a Group Director of Sales and Marketing, reporting to the Chief Operations Officer.

The successful candidate shall be responsible to guide the managed units of Qatar National Hotels Company in the development of the annual marketing plan, strategy and budget. He/She shall also guide and direct the Marketing team to work with the Sales departments in order to maximise revenue and profitability by practicing yield management, conduct feasibility studies and direct all e-commerce and public relations activities. 

In view of the new Merweb Hotels to open in 2009, the selected candidate shall be instrumental in the setting up, launching and development of the Merweb brand concept.

The right candidate shall have 5 years of experience as a Hotel Director of Sales and Marketing, is familiar with the Gulf environment and is highly experienced in branded customer service. A track record of successfully leading a multicultural team is a must. Fluency in English is required and knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
