Qatar National Hotels (QNH), an asset management company, developer and operator, was founded in 1993 and is wholly owned by the Government of Qatar and set up to capitalize on the growth potential of Qatar's tourism industry.
The company's primary objective was to provide tourists with a network of deluxe and first class hotels and services throughout the State of Qatar. Much of this vision has already been achieved through capturing the very essence of Qatar by means of innovative design, unique locations and warm hospitality.
Today, QNH's successful hotel network has grown into a fusion of hospitality expertise expanding into the countries surrounding the region. This expansion was initiated by the acquisition of the Renaissance Golden View Beach Resort in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt in 2006. QNH is the largest owner and operator of hotels in Qatar and is presently focusing on becoming one of the leading hotel management companies in the region with its Merweb brand. QNH's hospitality portfolio currently includes the recently opened and widely applauded Sharq Village & Spa, The Ritz-Carlton Doha, Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, Doha Marriott Hotel, Renaissance Golden View Beach Resort Sharm El Sheikh, Mövenpick Hotel Doha, Merweb Hotel Al Sadd, Sealine Beach Resort and the Royal Hall. The company is rigorous in the application of best practice and policies through the ownership and management of all its operations. This is backed by the Board of Director's progressive attitude and the substantial expertise and professionalism of an international management team supported by highly trained staff. |
