Doha, Qatar - 24 July, 2007 -  Qatar National Hotels Company (QNH) is to manage one of Qatar's new hotel developments located in an enviable central Doha location, offering travelers a new business address when it opens in early 2010.

Qatar National Hotels Company has signed a letter of intent with the proprietor company Abdulla Ali Al-Majed Establishment for a new Merweb Grand property in downtown Doha. While this is the second Merweb Grand in Doha, the first Merweb Grand within Doha is to be completed in West Bay area and connected to the Doha City Center.

The five-star hotel will offer 350 rooms and suites in addition to 100 studios, two and three-bedroom apartments, designed specifically to attract long staying visitors. Guests will also be able to enjoy sumptuous cuisines at the hotels 4 restaurants, lounge and deli café; guests will also be able to get fit and relax at the spacious health club and leisure centre with its outdoor swimming pool. Meeting rooms and a fully equipped business centre will be available for banquets and conferences.

The Merweb Grand Downtown Doha is located in a prime location in Doha, only a few minutes drive away from the Doha International Airport and walking distances away from major business offices.
