Listen to the mellow sounds of Doha Jazz Orchestra at Habanos in The Ritz-Carlton, Doha. A ten-piece ensemble with guitar, bass, drums, four trumpets and three saxaphones will regale you with swing standards and modern classics.

Cooking class with italian flair, February 8 from 10.30am to 2.30pm
Learn, taste and experience with Chef Giovanni Russo in an informative and yet enjoyable cooking class with Italian dishes that are full of flavor. Discover new recipes that are simultaneously impressive but easy to prepare. After learning how to cook such delights, you can then enjoy a three-course set menu, prepared by the Porcini team.

Oyster lovers are in for treat in La Mer as Chef Simon has created a special menu featuring this universal delicacy. A legendary aphrodisiac, oysters are served as the food of love in our fine-dining restaurant this month. Featuring in appetizers and entrees, guests will be genuinely delighted at the innovative dishes that Chef Simon will present.

The Lagoon: Celebrations will be underway with a four-course romantic menu and The Valentines Day buffet.

Caipirinha cocktails

La mer – viva la france! – March 8
French cuisine is characterized by its extreme diversity and is considered to be one of the world's most refined and elegant styles of cooking, renowned for both its classical ("haute cuisine") and provincial styles. Chef Simon will teach you how to prepare classic French dishes full of flavor from start to finish and after learning how to cook such delights, you can then enjoy a three-course set menu, prepared by the La Mer team. Class begins at 10.30am and finishes at 2.30pm.
