Sheikh Nawaf was appointed Chairman of Qatar National Hotels Company in December 2003, after a successful career with Qatar Airways where he was managing the Fuel and Finance sections.  

Prior to his appointment as the Chairman of the Board, Sheikh Nawaf served as a board member of Qatar National Hotels Company. A Qatari national, he was born in Doha in 1972, and graduated from Qatar University with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Business Administration.  

Apart from his leading role at Qatar National Hotels Company, Sheikh Nawaf is also the Deputy Chairman of the Sheikh Jassim Bin Jabor Charitable Foundation and the Chairman of Dhofar Tourism Company, Sultanate of Oman.
