An Outstanding Success

DOHA, Qatar--December, 2006— Qatar National Hotels Company (QNH) held its annual family fun day to celebrate the company's achievements during the past year and to recognize the continuous support of QNH team members.

This year's event which was held at the Inland Sea included various adventurous and team building activities in addition to a sumptuous lunch buffet at the seaside. Amongst the 150 attendees was QNH's CEO, Jurgen Baumhoff.  
The day kicked off early in the morning by luxury couches towards the Sealine Beach Resort where the General Manager and management team of the resort warmly welcomed their colleagues from QNH with a delightful breakfast buffet set amid the beautifully manicured gardens. QNH branded t-shirts and caps were distributed before taking off on the adventurous journey to the desert camp in a convoy of 4 wheel drives.  
While some relaxed in the peacefulness of the surrounding dunes listening to the tunes of the skilled DJ, others enjoyed a pre-lunch swim or a short ride on camels. The more adventurous set off in 4 x 4's for enthralling 30 minute sessions of dune bashing.
There was plenty in store for the younger crowd; face painting, bouncy castle, cotton candy, and various games coordinator by the children animators. 
“Today's event is a small token from the management's part to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the efforts and dedication of the employees at QNH Head Office. It gives us the opportunity to network and provides our employees the chance to get together and break away from their daily routine," commented Jurgen Baumhoff, CEO of Qatar National Hotels Company. 
Team building activities followed in the afternoon, which were specially designed to help the management and employees develop effective communication and successful teamwork.
Valuable raffle prizes were given out to the lucky winners concluding the event with grateful thanks from all employees to the Human Resources Department for a well organized and long to be remembered day.
