DOHA, Qatar - July, 2007

During a recent meeting held at the headquarters' of Qatar National Hotels Company amongst the Board of Directors, chaired by His Excellency Sheikh Nawaf Bin Jassem Bin Jabor Al Thani, Chairman of QNH and in the presence of Ali Abdulla Ali Al Abdulla, Board Member and Deputy Chairman of the Projects and Development Committee, Yousef Mohammed Al Othman, Board Member and Chairman of the Tenders Committee, Sunil Vohra, QNH Acting Chief Executive Officer, Tarek Samara, Director of Projects and Construction and Member of the Projects and Development and Tenders Committees and Wael Ramzy, Head of Internal Audit, it was announced that renovations will take place on the 6th, 7th and 8th floors of the Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel.
The renovations started in June and are expected to be completed by the end of October, 2007. The contractor United Construction who were also invited to attend this meeting were awarded for the renovation works of the rooms on all three floors given that they were the initial contractors who recently renovated the Sheraton's well praised rooms within the first to the sixth floors.
The furniture contractors awarded for the renovations are Al Manai Mable who was also responsible for the unique furnishing of the rooms and suites within the first to the sixth floors and the ninth to the eleventh floors. 
With these renovations completed in October, The Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel's 371 rooms and suites would all be fully refurbished and renovated to meet with today's modern and international requirements.
