DOHA, Qatar— July 30, 2007— Qatar National Hotels Company (QNH) unveils plans to undergo renovations of Al Shaheen Restaurant at the Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel expected to commence in January of next year. 
The renowned Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel will undergo complete renovation to the first restaurant in Doha to ever overlook the Corniche, Al Shaheen Restaurant. The investment of QR 10.6 million is part of Qatar National Hotels Company's strategic growth plans signaling their strong commitment to developing tourism in Qatar.  
Scheduled to open in October 2008, the Al Shaheen Restaurant will unlock its doors into a time when simplicity and elegance were paramount, creating a 1,000 square meter atmosphere of comfort and warmth with its modern décor and seemingly effortless service. The 265-seat venue, strategically located on the last floor of the Sheraton, is designed to suit individual tastes hence divided into various sections of different seating styles that vary from a VIP area, cocktail lounge, sushi bar, to the seating areas overlooking the breathtaking views of the Corniche and the Arabian Gulf
